If you're one of the fourteen-million-plus consumers of coconut oil in the United States, then you might already be familiar with some its beneficial properties -- it's myriad health benefits, and usefulness as a butter substitute, conditioner, moisturizer and even mouth-wash. You might also be aware of its uniquely high melting point, which makes it difficult to manage, solid one minute, semi-liquid the next.
